Pic of the day – Our Belated Winter

El Niño – the child. That is Christmas, is the warmth, the cycle of youth and age, heat and chill. I remember a song I loved by the McGarrigle’s — Entre la Jeunesse et la Sagesse. Bien sûr, bien sûr, c’est la vie, n’est-ce pas? And so, the weather has been unseasonably warm. Some crops will fail, the fruit trees are at risk. Others will blossom and thrive, unduly, some might say unfairly. I believe ‘fair’ is (and ought to be) a four letter word. Today the snows started. It is supposed to snow lightly for most of the coming week. Some are complaining. I look out my window tonight, into the dark made a dim brightness with the quiet white.
