Pic of the day – Sandcherry Blossoms
We’re heading into Passover, the Triduum, Easter. Holidays tinged with blood, flowers flecked with red. There is a saying that we all carry our own cross. I’ve been hearing lately from many friends with their own sorrows, challenging things. Five-petaled blossoms are said to be a symbol of humanity — two legs, two arms, a head. Masses and masses of us, with our own purity, our own dreams, our own sorrows, beautiful and poignant.
