Pic of the day – Discarded Tulip
We are as susceptible to the lure of beauty as insects who are born, live, and die for pollination. You can tell when you watch children, walking hand in hand with their patent, tug free briefly to grab a blossom from a passing garden. Clutched fiercely, the flower snaps, then is crushed, or dissected, or discarded. I suspect that origin for this beauty in the grass.
