Pic of the day – Vinegars & Pickles

This morning I started putting labels on the jars so they can be moved to the basement pantry. This shot shows pickled leeks and cherries, two types of raspberry vinegar, dill vinegar, and blueberry syrup. It does not show the blueberry butter and and pansy lemon syrup that are also headed for the basement. Today I hope to make both mango and peach freezer jams. In process but not ready to jar for their final storage are the following vinegar infusions: Blueberry in white vinegar
Blueberry in balsamic vinegar
Cherry in white vinegar
Cherry in balsamic vinegar
Black raspberry

Oh. And I’m also infusing some basil oil. That should probably get filtered and bottled today, if I can squeeze it in.
