Pic of the day – Dimensions and layers

I’ve been working on a book chapter for month. It’s been very VERY hard to write. I finished the rough draft today, and started getting feedback. So far, two readers. One loves it, one hates it. I am not encouraged. One thought I constructed the argument well, the other thinks it is baffling, on the verge of insulting. Both readers are quite bright folk, so I am now trying to figure out where I went wrong and how to fix it. But first I need sleep. Layers. Depth of field. What’s in focus, what is out of focus, and how do the parts out of focus support the portions in focus. How is the visual argument constructed. How are any arguments constructed? Sigh.
